Terms of ServiceEffective date: June 2026 Acceptance of termsBy accessing or using the Basis Property Group website at basispropertygroup.com (the "Site") or any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services. These terms apply to every visitor, owner, and advisor who uses the Site. About our servicesBasis Property Group is a cost segregation advisory and brokerage. We analyze commercial and investment property, prepare preliminary benefit estimates, and arrange engineered cost segregation studies. The engineered studies themselves are performed by licensed engineering partners. Basis is not a certified public accounting firm and is not a law firm, and we provide no tax, legal, or accounting advice. Preliminary Benefit EstimatesAny Preliminary Benefit Estimate we provide is illustrative and modeled. It is offered solely to help you decide whether to commission an engineered study. It is not a guarantee of results, is not a promise of any specific deduction or tax outcome, and is not tax advice. Your actual depreciation and tax results depend on the engineered study and on the determinations made by you and your own tax advisor. No professional-advice relationshipNothing on the Site and nothing in an estimate creates an accountant-client, attorney-client, or other professional-advice relationship with you. You should consult your own CPA and attorney before acting on any information you receive from us or relying on any estimate. Engagements and feesAny cost segregation study is governed by a separate written engagement between you and Basis Property Group. The terms of that engagement, including its scope, govern the work. Fees are quoted to you directly for your specific property and are not published on the Site. No fee, work, or obligation arises until a written engagement is in place. Intellectual propertyThe content on the Site, including text, graphics, the Basis name and logo, layout, and methodology descriptions, belongs to Basis Property Group and is protected by applicable law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not copy, republish, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Third-party links and partnersThe Site may link to third-party websites, and we work with independent engineering partners and other third parties. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, services, or practices. A link or reference is not an endorsement, and your dealings with any third party are between you and that party. Disclaimers and limitation of liabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and our informational services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basis Property Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any estimate, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim. IndemnificationYou agree to indemnify and hold harmless Basis Property Group and its personnel from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law. Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these terms will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Pennsylvania. Changes to these termsWe may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so please review this page periodically.
